This is a post for the Erie Mastermind group I'm a part of, but I will add to this list in a future post laying out the whole thing.
To create a documented system so you can turn a process over to someone else, follow these steps.
1. Record a video of you explaining or completing the process. (I use my phone or Wondershare Filmora)
2. Transcribe the video (I use Descript for this)
3. Copy the transcription into ChatGPT with the following prompts:
a. turn this transcription into a document teaching the process
b. turn this transcription into a list of numbered steps
4. Give the employee/contractor the following
a. The video
b. The document
c. The numbered list
5. If they ask you questions or don't understand using this set of media, add to your documentation or start over until you have something that is entirely understandable. Once you have this in place, you'll never have to do it again.
